practical phrenologist of a Christian leaning; office at 62 Regent's Quadrant, London; claimed to have begun lecturing on phrenology c1830 and to have examined half the members of "our leading universities, Oxford and Cambridge"; lectured at the Surrey Educational Inst, 1848, and on the "Pleasure of Scientific Research and Sensual Gratification, Contrasted" at the Soho Mutual Instruction Soc, June 1850. (Med Dir, 1849 has an obit for one John Bunny [1784-1848], formerly of the 76th Regiment.) London:
