his name appears in the minute book of EDIN PHREN SOC from 18 Dec 1828, and as on its council, 1834; if this is the same person who published under the pseudonym of "Seedair" (as indicated by the copy in Edin UL where "P. DESERET" is penned in under "Seedair," then a major retreat must have occurred with the publication of G. COMBE'S works. It is not clear if the author of the first two entries below is this same as the "Seedair" author; the BL Catalogue mistakenly enters "Seedair" as the pseudo, for Phineas Deseret Leith.
