Although not dominated by phrenologists, they contributed 10 of the 64 papers published in the J Ethnological Soc of Lon between 1848-56: 8 of these papers were by the Society's hon sect, Richard CULL, one was by Robert DUNN, and one by Alexander NASMYTH. John CONOLLY was pres, 1855/6.
